Similar to the existing Alcatel OmniSwitch products, the OS6850 series uses the Alcatel Operating
System (AOS), which ensures an easy and economical way to upgrade or deploy a new Ethernet

for a small/medium network in the core or at the edge of a large network. Also, the OS6850
protects your investment with native support of IPv4 and IPv6 switching.
